Young Audiences of Western New York is seeking a dynamic and innovative Development Officer with proven success in excellent communications and visionary planning. S/he will plan, implement and manage a development program for YA-WNY to maximize annual operating support, sponsorships and special project funding. S/he ensures outstanding communications to all stakeholders. Program development includes identification of policies and strategies, production of campaign materials and reports. This individual will lead the creation of inspiring requests for funding, and work with the staff and board to create and support a vision for broader impact by the organization. Meet the fundraising and long-range planning goals of YA-WNY through solicitation of annual support from individuals, businesses, foundations and government entities. Maintain effective relationships with key community stakeholders (individuals, businesses, and foundation representatives), fundraising volunteers, and other members of the administrative staff.
