The Boys & Girls Clubs of Buffalo (BGCB) is pleased to announce the appointment of George W. Collins Jr. He is a resident of Snyder, and partner at Bouvier Partnership, LLP as Chief Volunteer Officer. Mr. Collins has been a long time supporter of BGCB and has actively served on the Board since 2003. He has served as Vice Chair of Organizational Development, Chair for the Board Governance Committee, and Board Vice President. Mr. Collins has 26 years of experience as a trial attorney and is on the Management Committee at his firm. In the past, Mr. Collins has been the recipient of a Trial Advocacy Diploma from the American College of Trial Lawyers and National Institute for Trial Advocacy, and was selected to "The Best Lawyers in America" as well as the prestigious International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC).
Under Mr. Collins's leadership, the Board appointed seven new Directors to our Board which is responsible for establishing the policies and direction of the organization, which includes planning, operations, policy decisions, financial development and forming local collaborations, to guide the direction of BGCB programs and services in the community.
