On Sunday, October 23rd at 2 p.m. at the Broadway Sports Center., the Boys & Girls Clubs of Buffalo will hold its 1st Annual Bowl-A-Thon. This event is open to the public and is a great way to spend some time on a Sunday afternoon with family, friends & Club members.

We expect at least 100 bowlers to participate and throughout the day we will distribute prizes and hold a theme basket auction. We're inviting you to get involved in our 2011 Bowl-A-Thon as a prize sponsor.

All proceeds from the Bowl-A-Thon will support Health 360°, a program that is aimed at increasing physical activity and sensible eating practices among children and adolescents, while emphasizing healthy body image and positive self-esteem at any weight.

At the Boys & Girls Clubs of Buffalo we provide environments that teach children the skills needed to build positive lives, attitudes and behaviors. We help bridge the gaps in the lives of children who need us most by providing a safe, positive place after school. A place where children belong, receive academic enrichment and advice about making decisions, a place where they can discover new talents and receive a nutritious snack & meal. For thousands of children in our community the Boys & Girls Clubs of Buffalo is their home away from home.
